Upholstery pre-treatment (optional)
Pre-treat heavily soiled areas or stains with BZ1. Make sure the BZ1 spot remover is diluted first at least 1:10 (1 part cleaner to 10 parts of fresh water). Next moisten the cleaning cloth with BZ1, and apply to the soiled areas and stains and rub gently in a circular motion. Let it act a short while.

Dry-foam preparation
Use a bucket, switch on the power tool, press the discharge valve and watch out for correct dry-foam formation. Attention: before the actual foam formation, some liquid PS1 might discharge first. After a few seconds the right foam consistency will develop. Use the PS 57 (foam dosage screw / illustrated in the user manual) for adjustments if needed.

Brush-cleaning
Once the foam reached the right consistency, start with the actual cleaning application. Gently brush the complete upholstery surface with the PSG upholstery machine (no hard pressing needed !). Control the amount of dry-foam needed by pressing and/or releasing the discharge valve. Make sure the complete upholstery surface is treated with dry-foam.

Dry-foam removal (recommended)
Once the agitation and application of the dry foam on the upholstery is completed, use a lightly moistened cleaning cloth (moistened with fresh water) and wipe the complete surface. This will remove the visible dry-foam and re-arrange the fibers of the fabrics in the desired direction..

Drying time
According to the ambient temperature & air humidity, the amount of foam used and the type of the fabric the drying time may vary between 30 minutes to 2 hours. Use air movers to speed up the drying time. During drying, the foam will transform into small micro-crystals encapsulating and entrapping the dissolved soil.
